Job summary

PeaceHealth in Vancouver, Washington is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Med/Surg Float Pool on a night shift basis. This full-time position requires a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license in Washington and a minimum of one year experience in acute care. The role involves providing direct patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and participating in ongoing education. The salary ranges from $56.92 to $86.09 per hour plus shift differentials. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Washington (or ability to obtain).
• BLS required; ACLS and NIHSS required within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with professional standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support holistic patient care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs.
• Document care accurately and timely.
• Delegate tasks appropriately based on team members’ competencies.
• Participate in quality improvement, safety, and infection prevention initiatives.
• Stay current through ongoing education and professional development.

PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center | Full-Time | 0.90 FTE

Salary Range: $56.92-$86.09/hour, plus $3.50/resource team differential and $7.75/hour night shift differential. Compensation is based on collective bargaining agreement.
