The float pool department plays a vital role in maintaining the quality and consistency of patient care across the hospital by providing a versatile and adaptable workforce. Float pool nurses provide crucial support to all acute care units experiencing temporary staffing shortages, including emergency department boarders, step down units, med/surg telemetry units, lock down psych, long‑term care, and more. This position offers nurses variety, excitement, and an ever‑changing work environment.
