Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a Critical Care Float role. This full-time daytime-swing position will provide care across ICU, ED, CVU, and PACU, bringing expertise where needed most.

You will need a current RN license, 2+ years in ICU/ED/Stepdown, BLS on hire, ACLS within 6 months, and NIHSS certification soon after start. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and patient- and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required).
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in ICU, ED, or Stepdown.
• Current RN license active in state of practice.
• BLS required on hire; ACLS within 6 months; NIH Stroke Scale certification (NIHSS) within 6 months.

FTE: 0.90 (Full-Time)

Pay Range: $45.78 – $82.98 per hour (based on experience, education, and applicable agreements)

Make a Difference in Critical Care PeaceHealth is seeking a skilled and compassionate Critical Care Float RN to join our dynamic care team. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple critical care areas, including ICU, ED, CVU, and PACU—bringing your expertise where it’s needed most.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

Note: This is a float role with orientation and training support for new specialty areas.

Licenses & Certifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license

Within 6 months of hire:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)
