Allina Health Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN is seeking a Part-time RN Float Pool nurse to join our Magnet Recognized team. The role covers med/surg and tele, with a 24-hour per week schedule, day/evening shifts, and every-other weekend.

New grads may be considered at Tier 3. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop plans of care, coordinate with unit staff, and uphold evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional RN experience in acute care or medical/surgical setting.
• Medical/Surgical experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs and outcomes.
• Establishes plan of care and coordinates with the care team.
• Maintain competencies and apply evidence-based nursing practice.
• Coordinate, delegate, and supervise care safely across units.
• Act as Charge Nurse or Preceptor when in those roles.
