Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
• BLS required before patient contact.
• ACLS required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas.
• Unit-specific certifications may be required.
• Commitment to continuous learning and accurate EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs while collaborating with the healthcare team.
• Develop care plans with patients and families to meet their goals.
• Deliver evidence-based nursing care, educate patients and families, and follow hospital policies.
• Evaluate outcomes and adjust care based on patient responses and evidence-based practices.
• Drive Performance Improvement initiatives with the Clinical Manager for better patient outcomes.
• Promote High Reliability to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
• Lead and mentor peers while effectively managing patient care.
• Document the nursing process, plan of care, education, and responses in the EMR.
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies and required training.
