Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Victoria is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver, direct, and supervise care for patients admitted to the unit under the supervision of the CNO/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse.

The role emphasizes nursing process application, interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization, with ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses and ACLS within 90 days for others.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or a compact license.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Charge Nurses must have ACLS.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the unit.
• Plan and coordinate care, including discharge planning and family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and access community resources as needed.
• May perform duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse responsibilities.
