Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of South Point seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care on an inpatient unit under the guidance of Nursing leadership.

The role includes discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. ACLS is required within 90 days; BLS is required on hire, with state licensure or compact licensure.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides or a compact licensure.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment; must be AHA approved within 90 days.
• Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients on the unit.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization and access to community resources.
• May perform other related duties as assigned, including serving as Charge Nurse when needed.
