Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse First Assistant to support perioperative care across the OR and related areas. You will assist in operative procedures and serve as RN circulator as needed, delivering safe, patient-family centered care.

Requirements include a nursing degree, completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, current Georgia RN license, CNOR and BLS certifications, and experience in perioperative settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing.
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, which includes didactic and clinical components.
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.

Responsibilities

• Functions as RN first assistant during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Acts as RN circulator as needed.
• Delivers safe, patient-family centered perioperative care.
