Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital seeks a qualified RN First Assistant to deliver safe, effective perioperative care in the OR and related areas. You will function as an RN first assistant during operative procedures and may serve as an RN circulator as needed, supporting the perioperative team.

Qualifications include Georgia RN licensure, CNOR and CRNFA certifications, and BCLS/ACLS/PALS. Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program is required, with 2 years CVOR or perioperative RN experience

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program (Required).
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program (Required).
• 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience (Required).
• 3 years minimum as RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR if working in CVOR (Required).
• RN licensure in Georgia or multistate licensure (Required).
• CNOR, CRNFA, BCLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (Required).

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective perioperative care in OR and perioperative services.
• Act as RN First Assistant during operative procedures and other invasive procedures.
• Occasionally perform RN circulator duties as part of perioperative care.
