Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an RN for the NT6 Observation unit. This 43-bed unit provides acute care across cardiac, general surgery, and behavioral health with a typical 24- to 48-hour stay.

The role requires an RN with >1 year experience, BLS, nursing diploma, and RN license upon hire. You’ll work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a 1:5–6 nurse-to-patient ratio and receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus with a 3-year commitment.

Qualifications

• Certification: BLS within 30 days.
• RN license required upon hire; Nursing Diploma.
• 1+ year of RN work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities of the unit as defined by scope of service.
• Maintains accurate documentation for care plans and chart audits.
• Takes part in patient assessment, care planning, and execution of nursing interventions.
• Ensures patient safety and reports hazards or incidents promptly.
• Participates in staff meetings and unit-based education.
