Job summary

Southcoast Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Family Center (St. Luke's Hospital, New Bedford, MA). The role features evenings to nights with every other weekend, holidays, and on-call rotations. A $5,000 new hire sign-on is available for 2+ years of RN Family Center experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in MA is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Three (3) months experience is preferred.
• ACLS preferred.
• Labor and delivery or mother/baby RN experience preferred.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients under the direction of the Manager or designee.
• Participate in patient and family teaching and provide leadership with the care team.
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice within the assigned unit, appropriate to patient age group.

We are searching for a talented RN

*$5,000 New Hire Sign On with 2+ years of RN Family Center experience. Rehires Termed greater than 1 year are eligible*

Hours: 36hrs

Shift:Evening/Night shift with every other weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation; 7:00pm - 7:00am

Location: Family Center - St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee of individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Three (3) months experience is preferred.
• ACLS preferred.
• Labor and delivery or mother/baby RN experience preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $42.37 - USD $77.81 /Hr.

Rotation Schedule Requirement
