Southcoast Health System, Inc. in Massachusetts is hiring experienced Registered Nurses for our in-house MTM Staffing travel team. This 11–13 week assignment offers a $70/hour rate with full health insurance and a 403(b) retirement plan option.

Position details include 24 or 36 hours per week, shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am or 3:00pm to 3:00am, and a requirement to work alternating weekends and holidays. Multisite placement may apply across Southcoast hospitals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Minimum of one year of Family Centered Unit/Labor & Delivery nursing experience required.
• Competent in reading and interpreting basic telemetry strips.
• Ability to efficiently float to other like-units for patient assignments is required.
• Epic experience is preferred.

• 11‑13 Week Assignment, with option to extend for an additional 13‑week assignment if available
• $70/hr

Position Assignment Details:

• Hours: 24 or 36hrs

• Must work every other weekend and holiday, 1 weekend shift every week and every other holiday OR Every Weekend
• Area Assignment: Family Centered Unit/Labor & Delivery - St. Luke's Hospital, New Bedford

*This position is Multisite, may be asked to float to any Southcoast Hospital: Charlton Memorial—Fall River, St. Luke’s—New Bedford.

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services, or designee of individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching, and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

Qualifications

• Current Southcoast Health System employees are not eligible for consideration. Former employees must be separated from Southcoast for at least 9 months to be eligible.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Minimum of one year of Family Centered Unit/Labor & Delivery nursing experience required.
• Competent in reading and interpreting basic telemetry strips.
• Ability to efficiently float to other like-units for patient assignments is required.Working knowledge and experience with PC‑based applications.
• Epic experience is preferred.Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

  Pay Range

  USD $70.00 - USD $70.00 /Hr.
