Job summary

North Memorial Health in Maple Grove is seeking a Registered Nurse for Family Birth Center and specialized units. The RN provides compassionate, patient‑ and family‑centered care, coordinating with physicians and the care team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care plans.

Strong clinical skills, documentation in Epic, and effective communication are essential. Education includes an Associate's degree in nursing with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years RN FBC hospital experience required in NICU or L&D.
• Current licensure as an RN in MN with active BLS; ACLS, TNCC, PALS/NRP certifications as required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Reviews maternal prenatal history and assesses patient needs.
• Provides care for mother, newborn, and family per care plan.
• Coordinates with health care team for plan of care and transfers.
• Documents care and nursing interventions in Epic per policy.
• Administers medications and monitors patient responses per protocol.
• Demonstrates professionalism and manages multiple urgent tasks.
