Job summary

North Memorial Health in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Family Birth Center Float Pool. The RN will provide compassionate, family-centered care across NICU, L&D, and postpartum units, following Epic documentation and hospital policies.

Education requirements include an associate degree in nursing with MN licensure; BLS; experience in FBC, NICU or L&D preferred. The role offers night shifts, non-exempt status, and benefits.

Qualifications

Associate degree in nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
Current MN RN licensure and BLS certification.
Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.
Strong communication skills with patients and teams.

Responsibilities

Review maternal prenatal history and assess newborn/mother status.
Coordinate with health care team to plan and evaluate care.
Perform admissions, discharges and essential newborn/mother assessments.
Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
Provide phlebotomy, IV therapy and bedside care.
Document care concisely in Epic and collaborate in rounds.
