Carle Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join an interdisciplinary team, delivering nursing care through the nursing process and developing individualized care plans with patients and families. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, safety, and collaboration across the care team.

The selected nurse will document progress, adjust care plans as patient conditions evolve, and contribute to high-quality outcomes while promoting a culture of safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with Illinois IDFPR and college nursing diploma.
• Promotes evidence-based practice through nursing process, protocols and procedures.
• Develops an individualized plan of care using a collaborative approach with the patient/family and health care team.
• Performs patient bedside lab testing and related quality control as per orders and lab policies.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care through application of the nursing process.
• Uses interventions identified in the plan to achieve patient outcomes.
• Documents patient progress and re-evaluates progress on an ongoing basis.
• Modifies the plan of care based on evaluation and patient condition changes.
• Promotes patient and staff safety through appropriate use of lift equipment and safety protocols.
