Excelsior Care Group is seeking an experienced RN Evening Supervisor for our Rehab and Nursing Center in Hudson County, NJ. This full-time role runs 3:00 PM–11:00 PM and provides strong clinical leadership to ensure high-quality resident care.

The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license, have 2+ years in long-term care, and at least 1 year in supervisory roles, with CPR certification. On-site responsibilities include oversight of staffing, rounds, and medication administration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active and valid RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in long-term care, subacute, or geriatric settings.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with nursing leadership to plan and oversee daily operations in line with policies and regulations.
• Supervise nursing staff to ensure quality care.
• Participate in facility surveys and inspections as directed by administration.
• Develop and review individualized care plans and discharge planning.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels for optimal patient care.
• Conduct routine rounds to monitor staff performance and provide guidance.
• Address and escalate staff concerns and grievances appropriately.
• Welcome and assist new admissions and ensure smooth transitions.
• Accompany physicians during rounds as needed.
• Oversee medication administration and treatments per physician orders.
• Provide direct patient care when needed.
• Assist with comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Support performance evaluations for LPNs and CNAs.

Our Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Evening Supervisor to provide strong clinical leadership and ensure the highest standards of care for our residents. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse with supervisory experience to grow within a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director and Assistant Director of Nursing to plan, develop, and oversee daily nursing operations in accordance with facility policies and state/federal regulations

• Supervise nursing staff to ensure responsibilities are carried out effectively and residents receive exceptional care

• Participate in facility surveys and inspections as directed by administration

• Assist in the development, review, and implementation of individualized care plans and discharge planning

• Ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained for optimal patient care

• Conduct routine rounds to monitor staff performance, provide guidance, and report findings to leadership

• Address and elevate staff concerns, complaints, and grievances appropriately

• Welcome and assist new admissions, ensuring a smooth and supportive transition
