Key responsibilities include supervising evening staff, coordinating assignments, and promoting effective communication among residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New York state.
• Minimum of two years' progressive nursing experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
• Previous supervisory or nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to oversee evening nursing operations independently.
• Availability to work weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON and ADON with daily nursing operations.
• Supervise and support evening nursing staff.
• Conduct rounds to assess resident care, safety, and performance.
• Respond to clinical concerns and changes in resident condition.
• Coordinate assignments and staffing coverage.

Pay Rate: $115,000 annually

Cypress Garden Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead our evening nursing team. In this role, you will oversee nursing operations, support staff, and ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care while maintaining compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) with daily nursing operations.
• Supervise, guide, and support nursing staff during evening shifts.
• Conduct routine rounds to assess resident care, safety, and staff performance.
• Respond promptly to clinical concerns, changes in resident condition, and emergencies.
• Coordinate nursing assignments and address staffing needs to support appropriate coverage.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Participate in surveys, audits, inspections, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and promote effective communication among staff, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and resident-centered care environment.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
• Minimum of two (2) years of progressive nursing experience in a long‑term care, skilled nursing, or nursing home setting.
• Previous supervisory or nursing leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively oversee evening nursing operations.
• Availability to work weekdays and weekends.
