Valley View Village is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Des Moines, IA. You will provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents, administer medications, and collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

New grads welcome to apply. This full-time role offers evening and night shifts with a $5,000 bonus for the evening shift and benefits. PSLF eligibility after 120 qualifying payments in Iowa.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Iowa RN license or licensure within compact states.
• CPR certificate or willingness to obtain it.
• Stable work history with reliable performance.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a team-oriented mindset.

Responsabilités

• Notifies Clinical Manager, physicians and family of significant resident changes and follows up as needed.
• Administers medications and treatments per physician orders and monitors effectiveness.
• Monitors residents and reports changes in condition.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Displays courtesy and respect toward residents, families and staff.
• Monitors CNA staff performance.
• Uses strong interpersonal skills in interactions with others.
