Job summary

Rutherford Regional Health System, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an experienced RN to join our Emergency Department team in North Carolina. This role features a 3 x 12 hour night shift (7p–7a) with rotating weekends and a commitment bonus of $20,000 for experienced RNs or $10,000 for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Active NC (or compact) RN license.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• One year of Emergency Department RN experience.
• Associate degree in nursing; bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings.
• Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care.
• Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record.
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient.

Skills

NC RN license or multi-state

BLS within 30 days

ACLS within 90 days

1 year ED RN experience

Education

Associate's degree in nursing
