Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in North Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. This full-time night position features 3x12 hour shifts on a 32-bed unit with every-other-weekend rotation to support work-life balance.

If you have an active NC RN license, BLS, ACLS and PALS within six months, and at least two years in RN ED, you’ll join a supportive team with comprehensive benefits and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license (single-state) or compact.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• Two or more years of RN Emergency Department experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
