Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in North Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department. This full-time role features 3x12 hour night shifts and a $10,000 - $20,000 commitment-incentive bonus, with a strong emphasis on patient care and teamwork.

You will assess patients, implement nursing interventions, document care, participate in care planning, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a 32-bed ED focused on flexibility and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license (single-state) or compact required; If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence before employment begins.
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
• Two or more years of RN Emergency Department experience required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
