Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks an Emergency Department RN for night shifts on a 32-bed unit with self-scheduling and every-other-weekend rotation. Eligible for a $10,000-$20,000 commitment incentive bonus.

Active NC RN license, BLS, ACLS and PALS required within specified timelines; 2+ years ED experience preferred. Join a residency-focused team delivering high-quality care in Hickory, NC.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license (single-state) or compact.
• BLS required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• Two or more years of RN Emergency Department experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.
