Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Canton Emergency Center in Livonia, MI. This full-time ED role supports ongoing patient assessment, treatment, and discharge planning in a fast-paced environment.

The RN will collaborate with the Nurse Leader and care teams to deliver patient-family centered care, document care appropriately, and provide education to patients and families. MI license and BLS required; ACLS/TNCC/ENPC or PALS as applicable.

Qualifications

Associates or Diploma in Nursing required.
Bachelors in Nursing required within 5 years if new graduate or with <1 year experience.
NCLEX licensure exam must be passed for non-accredited programs.
MI RN license required.
BLS required on hire/transfer from listed organizations.
ACLS within 6 months of hire/transfer.
TNCC within 1 year of hire/transfer.
ENPC or PALS within 15 months of hire/transfer.
Specialty Certification highly recommended within 2 years.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients.
Educate patients and families and document education in the health record.
Collaborate with Nurse Leader and care team to align with Corewell Health policies.
