Description:This position is for a registered nurse in the Emergency Department.The nurse will care for patients of all ages.The facility has 21 beds, including telemetry and behavioral health beds.The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5.The role involves using emergency medical equipment and electronic health records.The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Experience in emergency medicine, particularly with psychological emergencies, is preferred.Common diagnoses include COPD, DKA, sepsis, cardiac emergencies, and neurological emergencies.The position requires someone who is a team player and can multitask efficiently.Dress code includes scrubs; open-toed footwear and spandex pants are not acceptable.
