Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Salem, MA. This 13-week assignment features a 12-hour rotating shift, with days/evenings/nights, and requires a minimum of 2 years ER nursing experience.

The unit is a 65-bed ED with pod-based structure; EPIC ASAP experience preferred. Floating to other units may be required; strong skills in assessment, documentation, IV placement, phlebotomy, ECG and cardiac monitoring, POC testing, splinting, critical

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Nursing experience.
• Valid Registered Nurse License.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; NRP & TNCC strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a 65-bed Emergency Department.
• Float to various units as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient education.

Description:Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department.The unit is a 65-bed Emergency Department with a pod-based structure.There is a separate area for pediatric patients and an Acute Mental Health area.A typical census is approximately 230 patient visits per day.Floating to various units may be required.Rotating shifts are required for day positions.Night position does not rotate.Candidate‑to‑patient ratio is 1:4.Familiar with EPIC ASAP for electronic medical records is preferred.
