Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room on a 13-week contract. Shifts are night, 12 hours, with a typical census and acuity-based patient ratios.

Candidates must have a current State RN license (or multi-state), at least 2 years ER experience, and BLS/ACLS/PALS/NIHSS certifications; CPI/TNCC preferred. Travel-ready RNs welcomed; no call requirements. Hurricane season periods may involve team assignments.

Description:Position for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room.Shifts will be 3 nights per week.Ratios will be based on acuity.Every other weekend is required.Floating between departments may be needed to meet facility needs.First-time travelers are accepted if they have emergency room experience.Certified units consider certifications from the American Heart Association only.No call requirements.Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season.This includes all employees and contractors.Hurricane season runs from June through November.Peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.This facility treats all patient age groups including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.Daily census varies with approximately 130 visits per day.Unit has 37 rooms available for patient care.Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, and pharmacy.All applicants must possess the required certifications and necessary experience in the specified field.
