Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks an Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week traveler assignment in a high‑volume ER. Night shifts are 12 hours, with patient ratios around 1:4–5, in a Level I Trauma Center environment.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in ER, active RN license, and ACLS/BLS/TNCC certifications. You will work with a multidisciplinary team and support adolescent to geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.
• Active State RN license required.
• ACLS, BLS, TNCC certifications required.
• Level I Trauma Center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a high-paced ER environment.
• Maintain patient flow with 1:4–5 ratios as per unit guidelines.
• Night shift with 12-hour shifts; every other weekend and holidays.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, RT, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, etc).
• Care for adolescents, adults and geriatrics in a Level I Trauma Center.
• Floating between units not required.

Description:This position is for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse.The nurse will be responsible for providing care in a high-paced environment.The expected patient ratios are 1:4-5.Candidate must have experience in a Level I Trauma Center.Floating between units is not required.No on-call duty is required.Candidates will be required to work every other weekend and holidays.Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation.The unit treats a range of patients including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.Daily census will range from 129 to 160 patients.The nurse will be working in a facility with 30 beds and 19 rooms.Special procedures and unit details include being a Level I Trauma Center.Please ensure that you have the required experience and certifications.
