Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced RN for ER coverage in Albany, GA. This 17-week assignment features 12-hour day shifts (7a-7p) with on-site work in a busy emergency department serving a wide age range.

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years in ER nursing and at least one travel assignment, a valid RN license, and required certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS). Meditech experience is a must, TNCC certification preferred.

Description:The emergency room accommodates approximately 180-200 visits per day, serving both pediatric and geriatric patients.Traumatic injuries are frequently encountered; some trauma cases are kept in-house while others are transferred.The facility is designated as a CVA center and holds a range of neuro and orthopedic cases.There is a behavioral lockdown area with a maximum of 6 beds, staffed by qualified personnel.Nurses are responsible for their own lab draws and IV starts.Respiratory therapists are available 24/7 and dedicated to the emergency room.Pharmacy services are operational 24/7, providing essential support for patient care.There is a dedicated central monitoring technician for tele-monitoring.Nurses will have support from nurse aides or paramedics, with 5-6 aides per shift.Every other weekend commitment is required.The expectation includes completing all orientation requirements during the first week of employment.All staff are required to wear Caribbean Blue scrubs.Completion of required certifications is expected prior to engagement.
