Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN specialized in the emergency room for a 13-week contract in a rural Minnesota hospital. Shifts are 12 hours, averaging 36 hours per week, with weekend work tailored to your schedule.

The facility operates a 10-bed ER and a 4-bed ICU, is stroke-ready and a Level 3 trauma center, serving about 17,000 patients annually. You will manage artline cases, CVP interventions, Bi-PAPs and ventilators, with cath labs transferred to another facility.

Qualifications

• RN license with current state licensure.
• Minimum 2 years ER/ICU experience.
• BLS and ACLS required upon hire; NIHSS, TNCC and PALS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage artline cases, CVP interventions, Bi-PAPs and ventilators.
• Cares for a patient population from newborns to centenarians.
• Cath lab cases are transferred to another facility.

Description:This position is for a registered nurse specializing in the emergency room.The contract duration is 13 weeks with shifts of 12 hours.You will be required to work every weekend based on your first choice, 3 out of 4 weekends for the second choice, and every other weekend for the third choice.The facility has a 10-bed emergency room and a 4-bed intensive care unit.It is an acute stroke-ready hospital and designated as a Level 3 trauma facility.The facility sees approximately 17,000 annual patients and is located in a rural area.The ICU serves as a step down from metropolitan facilities.In this role, you will manage artline cases, CVP interventions, Bi-PAPs, and ventilators.Patient demographics range from newborns to 101 years old.Please note that cath lab cases will be transferred to another facility.This position requires certifications in NIHSS, TNCC, PALS, ACLS, and BLS.
