Job summary

Tryfacta is seeking an RN- ER for our client in John Day, OR 97845. This is a 13-week contract assignment with nights and a pay rate of $64-$74/hr. Duration is 13 weeks with 3x12-hour shifts per week.

Requirements include an active Oregon RN license, 1 year ER/ED experience, and BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications. Flexibility to float to Med-Surg and ASAP availability are required.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room (ER) setting.
• Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and evaluate changes in condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered.
• Perform emergency nursing assessments and prioritize patient care based on acuity.
• Assist with emergency procedures and provide appropriate interventions as needed.
• Monitor patients closely and promptly communicate changes in condition to physicians and the healthcare team.
• Provide care for patients with medical, surgical, traumatic, and other emergency conditions.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the facility's electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Follow infection control procedures, patient safety standards, and hospital policies.
• Float to the Med-Surg unit as needed based on facility requirements.
• Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care throughout the assignment.

Requirements:

• Active Oregon RN License required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent ER/ED nursing experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Previous Acute Hospital/Emergency Department experience required.
• Must be comfortable working night shifts.
• Must be available to work 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week).
• Must be willing to float to Med-Surg as needed.
• Strong emergency assessment, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills required.
• Must be comfortable caring for patients with a wide range of emergency conditions.
• ASAP availability is required.
• Must be flexible to work based on facility scheduling needs.
