Job summary

Tryfacta, Inc. is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN to join our client in Rockford, IL 61103. This is a 13-week contract, with 12-hour Evening/Night shifts and weekend/holiday rotation.

The successful candidate will hold an active IL RN license with BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC or TNS, plus ED trauma center experience. Float to Freeport location.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN licensure required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required.
• NIHSS and TNCC or TNS certifications required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Experience in Emergency Department, Level 1 Trauma Center preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming patients by severity.
• Stabilize patients immediately.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
• Start IV lines and manage fractures.
• Perform tracheotomies and intubations.
• Create and maintain patient records.
• Float to ED at Freeport, IL hospital location.
• Work with emergency team; rotate evenings/nights weekends/holidays.

Position Title: Emergency Room RN

Work Schedule: 12-Hour Evening / Night Shifts with Weekend and Holiday Rotation

Pay rate: $70-$72

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Triage incoming patients based on level of injury or illness
• Immediately stabilize incoming patients
• Administer medication as instructed by physicians
• Start intravenous lines, and set broken bones
• Perform tracheotomies and intubations
• Give patients stitches and sutures
• Create and maintain incoming patient records
• Work with team of emergency staff to help patients
• Help transfer stable patients to other wings
• We are seeking an experienced ER RN for this opportunity. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an Emergency Department at a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• This position will be assigned to float to the Emergency Department at our Freeport, IL hospital location.
• This position is for Evening / Night Shift hours (12-hour shifts) and will require a weekend and holiday rotation.
• Candidate must have an Active IL RN Licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS at the time of submission.
• Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program; education verification is required.
