Job summary

Tryfacta is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Bakersfield, CA 93301. Nights 3x12 hours. Pay rate: $80 to $85 per hour. First-time travelers and locals accepted; CA license required; EPIC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification required: BLS/CPR, ACLS, NRP; Active CA RN License.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
• Monitor maternal vitals, contractions, and fetal heart rate patterns.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and oxytocin as ordered.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, inductions, and emergencies.
• Assess and respond to complications such as fetal distress and hemorrhage.
• Provide newborn care, breastfeeding support, and discharge teaching.
• Document care and collaborate with OB/GYNs.
