Description:This position involves working in the Emergency Department.The schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts.Candidates must be willing to work weekends and holidays if needed.On-call requirements are not applicable for this role.Travelers may be required to float between campuses based on census and staffing needs.First-time travelers will be accepted as long as they have 2 years of ER experience.The facility allows for the cancellation of one shift every two weeks.Clinical conditions treated in the Emergency Department include a variety of cases.The average daily census in the department is approximately 110 visits.The patient population includes neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatrics.Interdisciplinary support includes teams from IV Therapy, Physical Therapy, Radiology, Social Services, and Pharmacy.Special procedures performed may include chest tubes and intubation.The unit operates with a standard patient ratio of 4 patients per nurse.Advance preparation is necessary to ensure a smooth onboarding process.All RTO must be disclosed at the time of application.Compliance requirements must be fully met before the start date.
