Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN for ER assignments in California on a 13-week contract. Day shift, 12-hour shifts. Requires a valid Compact RN license and ACLS/BLS/PALS/NRP certifications.

Experience in ER and prior charge experience is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable floating to nearby facilities as needed and participating in mandatory modules. Ideal for nurses with at least one year of ER experience who can handle a 4:1 patient ratio during days and weekends.

Description:Day shift position with a start time of 06:30.The nurse will work in an emergency room setting.The unit cares for various patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients.The daily census is approximately 31 patients with an average of 31 visits per day.The unit has a total of 8 rooms and 8 beds.The nurse may be required to float between nearby facilities as needed.Candidates are required to have experience with continuous IV sedation and triage.The unit operates with a patient ratio of 4:1 during days and weekends.Travelers must commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays.Request for time off must be made upfront and cannot be considered after submission.Failure to float may result in termination of assignment and loss of guaranteed hours.References are required covering one year of experience within the past three years.All candidates must provide responses to specific queries during submission.Attendance to mandatory modules is required prior to assignment.
