Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN for an Emergency Department assignment in Texas for 13 weeks. Requires current RN license and ED experience with ACLS/BLS/TNCC/ENPC certifications. Night shifts are 12 hours each.

Expect 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratios, 12-bed ED, and training on lab procedures. Weekend availability is required; ENPC experience is preferred for ideal candidates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required.
• Current RN license is mandatory.
• ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PAL, ENPC, CPI/NICRSIS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage, initial assessment, and ongoing patient monitoring.
• Initiate IV access, obtain labs, and perform EKGs per ED protocol.
• Maintain patient-to-nurse ratios (4:1) and ensure patient safety during shifts.
• Adhere to ICARE values and participate in weekend scheduling.

Description:The position is in an Emergency Department with a total of 12 beds.There are 4 staff members on duty during each shift.Day shift consists of 3 RNs and 2 mid-shifters.Night shift consists of 3 RNs.Patient-to-nurse ratios are 4:1.Common procedures performed include triage, assessment, IV starts, lab draws, and EKGs.Training for lab procedures will be provided at each facility.Candidates must demonstrate adherence to ICARE values.Availability for weekend shifts is required; 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.Candidates without the required skills will not be considered.Preferred candidates will have ENPC experience.
