Job summary
Penn State Health – St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, PA is seeking an RN for Emergency Services. The role involves assessing health problems, developing care plans, and administering medications in a 7:00a-7:00p shift with every 3rd weekend.

Qualifications
- Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
- AHA BLS, ACLS and PALS prior to end of orientation period
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and develop nursing care plans and maintain medical records.
- Administer nursing care and medications to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.
- Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions.
