Penn State Health in Reading, PA, is seeking an RN for the Family Birthing Center. This full-time, 0.90 FTE role is day shift, 7:00 am–7:00 pm, with three shifts per week and every third weekend.

The inpatient RN assesses health problems, develops and implements care plans, maintains records, administers medications, and advises patients on health maintenance and prevention. Eligible employees enjoy tuition discount and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Competenze

• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the Interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
• AHA BLS prior to end of orientation period
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – required prior to the end of the orientation period
• AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – required prior to the end of the orientation period
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – required prior to the end of the orientation period
