Job summary

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license in state of employment.
• 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN hospital experience.
• BLS certification from AHA.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation and review of medical data.
• Evaluate patient’s response and intervene to ensure optimal outcomes; develop and implement plan of care.
• Demonstrate competency in IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization and specimen collection; maintain charts and records.
