Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department at Edward Hospital in Naperville. This full-time position 36 hours per week requires evening shifts from 1:00pm to 1:00am, with every third weekend and rotating holidays.

Requires an Associate Degree or higher in Nursing, 1+ year ED experience, and active IL RN licensure with CPR. ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications within 3 months are required.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing.
• If ADN is highest degree, must graduate with Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within five years.
• Experience: 1+ year in the Emergency Department.
• Licensure: Illinois RN license; CPR (AHA/ARC); ACLS within 3 months; PALS within 3 months; NIHSS stroke scale certification within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per Illinois RN Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Assess patient condition, monitor progress, document observations, and delegate tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with the care team to meet unit goals; duties may vary by shift.
