Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking an RN – Emergency Department for a part-time role (12 hours per week) with shift from 1:00pm to 1:30am. You will provide patient care using the nursing process, coordinate with other departments, and ensure patient rights and confidentiality are maintained.

The role requires ACLS and BLS certifications (or within 30 days) and an active RN license (or compact license). Experience in ED settings is valued as the team delivers 24/7 care in a 26-bed department.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact license).
• ACLS and BLS certifications (or within 30 days).
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Unit-specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
