Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department on a part-time basis (12 hrs/week). The shift runs from 1:00pm to 1:30am, with a 26-bed ED serving the community around the clock.

You will manage patient care, coordinate with teams, and uphold Mercy Service Standards. Required are an active RN license (or compact) and ACLS/BLS certifications (or within 30 days), with unit-specific credentials as needed.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact license).
• ACLS and BLS certifications, or able to obtain within 30 days.
• Unit-specific certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments to ensure continuity and safety.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
