Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department on a part-time basis. The role supports a 26-bed ED with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio and a 1:00pm-1:30am shift. You’ll deliver care using the nursing process and ensure patient rights and confidentiality.

Requirements include current RN license (or compact) and ACLS/BLS certifications (or within 30 days). Employment offers benefits such as retirement plans and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact) required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required or within 30 days.
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Emergency Department nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for care provided to assigned patients.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
