Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington seeks an experienced RN for the Emergency Department on a part-time basis (12 hours per week). The role supports a 26-bed ED operating around the clock with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, backed by care techs and paramedics.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact license).
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (or within 30 days), plus unit-specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
