Job summary

Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a RN - Emergency Department in Cass City, MI. The Casual RN works rotating days/nights on 12-hour shifts, delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ED.

Required: RN license in MI, BLS, ACLS (ENPC/PALS+6 months), TNCC within 1 year, ability to pass Cardiac Rhythm Recognition exam, and strong teamwork and communication. Previous ER experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current MI RN license.
• Current BLS certificate.
• ACLS required, if not complete must be done within 6 months of hire.
• ENPC preferred, PALS will also be considered, if not complete must be done within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC required, if not completed must be done within 1 year of hire.
• Must pass Cardiac Rhythm Recognition exam within 3 months of hire; may retake test once - OR-DIMS or CAMMP must be completed within one year if unable to pass.
• Previous clinical/ER experience preferred.
• Interpersonal skills: supportive, active listener, effective communicator with patient, family, and hospital staff; teamwork essential.
• Basic clinical evaluation and assessment skills for all age groups.

Hours: Casual. Shift coverage includes days, nights, weekdays, and weekends, with 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM–6:30 PM and 6:30 PM–6:30 AM.

REQUIREMENTS:
