Job summary

Aspire Rural Health System in Cass City, MI seeks an ER Tech for the Emergency Department. This casual night shift runs 6:30 pm–6:30 am, with one shift per calendar week and alternating weekends and holidays.

You will provide basic nursing care under supervision and work with nurses and staff to ensure patient comfort and safety. Qualifications include HS diploma, current BLS, and relevant EMT/ERT experience or certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Previous hospital experience as an ERT or completion of course for nursing assistant or EMT, EMT-A, EMT-P.
• Interpersonal skills: supportive, active listener, effective communicator with patients, family members, medical and hospital staff; ability to work as a team member.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CENA, MA, EMT, EMT-A, EMT-P Certification, Paramedic License, relevant college course completion, or previous ERT experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Previous hospital experience as an ERT or completion of course for nursing assistant or EMT, EMT-A, EMT-P.
• Interpersonal skills: supportive, active listener, effective communicator with patients, family members, medical and hospital staff; ability to work as a team member.
• Basic clinical evaluation skills are required for all age groups of patients serviced by the facility for which the individual may be involved in the patient care including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
