Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a Level II Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in the designated unit. The RN collaborates with the healthcare team, conducts assessments, plans and implements the nursing care plan, and evaluates patient outcomes across the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• BSN is preferred but not required for all units.
• BLS Provider CPR required at hire; NIHSS required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process and interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Coordinate patient/family education and discharge planning.
• Communicate plan of care to the health care team and participate in performance improvement.
• Participate in orientation and committee activities; uphold unit and hospital policies.
