Job summary

Ascension in Austin, TX is seeking a Nursing Professional Development Educator to join our Nursing Professional Development department. This full-time day position focuses on shaping clinical education and competency across the organization.

You will collaborate with leaders, assess learning needs, and design, implement, and evaluate programs to support nursing practice at the highest licensure standards. A Texas RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Texas required.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leaders and staff to assess nursing educational needs and competencies.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing and clinical educational plans/programs.
• Consult on the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of NPD programs.
• Manage performance and competency standards for inter-professional programs.
