Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Nursing Professional Development team in Austin, TX on a PRN schedule with a minimum of one day per week. The role focuses on needs assessment, program design, and outcome measurement to advance clinical competency across the north market.

You will design and implement evidence-based training, provide consultancy on program life-cycles, and ensure standards meet licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• BLS within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer date required, AHA or Red Cross accepted.
• RN credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required prior to hire date or transfer date.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing

Work Experience

• Required professional licensure at time of hire.
• Required bachelors degree
• Registered Nurse with acute or critical care experience strongly preferred.
• Supporting the north market
