Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor for the Emergency Department, a Level I Trauma Center with 53 beds. This full-time, evening-rotating role supports a high-acuity, fast-paced team dedicated to timely, patient-centered care.

Requirements include a BSN, RN license, BLS within 90 days, and 2+ years of RN experience with supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• BSN required
• Registered Nurse license required
• BLS required within 90 days of hire
• NIHSS, TCRN, SCRN, TNCC, CEN, PALS, and ACLS preferred
• 2+ years RN experience required and ED experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise ED nursing staff in a Level I Trauma Center
• Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to manage complex cases
• Mentor and develop nursing staff to support professional growth
