Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring full-time Registered Nurses for its Emergency Department, a Level I Trauma Center, with a 3:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m. shift and 36 hours per week. Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

The ED handles trauma, cardiac, stroke, and critical care cases, offering exposure to advanced clinical skills in a collaborative environment with a Magnet hospital designation.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license required.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• NIHSS, TCRN, SCRN, TNCC, CEN, PALS, and ACLS preferred.
• Emergency Department experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergent and trauma care to ED patients in a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely, high-quality care.
• Participate in ongoing education and Magnet hospital initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
